Udupi District Aided & Unaided PU College Principals Association inaugurated

Udupi, Sep 13: The Udupi District Aided & Unaided PU College Principals Association was inaugurated on September 11, celebrating the outstanding achievements of principals, vice-principals, and top-performing students.

The event honoured educators for their leadership in improving pre-university results and students for their exceptional performance in state examinations. Nearly 50 principals from across Udupi district were present in the event, chief operating officer of MAHE, Dr Raviraja N S, and Dr Rajeev Kumra, director of TAPMI, graced the event as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. The event was held at T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) campus.

Prof UL Bhat, retired principal, Jnana Ganga, Ramdas Prabhu, retired principal, SVT Karkala, Pundarikaksha kodancha, retired principal, SVH Innanje graced the event with their presence.

The newly formed Association aims to foster collaboration between pre-university institutions in Udupi, promoting academic excellence and knowledge-sharing among educators. The initiative is expected to enhance the quality of education and ensure continued progress in the district’s academic standards.

At the event, 18 top ranked students along with 3 retired principals from Udupi districts were felicitated.

Speaking at the event, Dr Raviraja N S, said, “It is an honor to be here at the inauguration of the Udupi District Aided & Unaided PU College Principals Association. The role of educators, especially principals, is pivotal in shaping the future of our nation. By fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge, this association will undoubtedly enhance the quality of education in Udupi, ensuring that every student is given the best opportunity to succeed."

Dr Rajeev Kumra, commented, “I commend the formation of the Udupi District Aided & Unaided PU College Principals Association, as it symbolizes the collective commitment of our educational leaders to excellence and innovation.
