72-year-old man missing from Mangaluru, family seeks help

Mangaluru, Sep 13: A 72-year-old man, Leo D'Souza, a resident of Kollangana in Kasargod district, has been missing since the morning of September 10. Leo, who was staying at his sister’s house in Neermarga, Mangaluru, left around 10 am, stating that he was heading back to his hometown.

According to witnesses, Leo was last seen boarding a bus at Adyar Padav and traveling to Statebank, Mangaluru. He was carrying his Aadhar card and enough money for bus fare. Leo is fluent in Konkani, Kannada, Tulu, and Malayalam.

His son, Ashwin John D'Souza, has filed a missing person complaint with the Vamanjoor police. The family has urged anyone with information about Leo’s whereabouts to contact the Vamanjoor police station or reach out directly at +91 8086526732.
