Bengaluru, Sep 13: As part of the Non-Resident Kannadigas Convention and Hridayavahini Silver Jubilee celebrations, quiz and poetry competitions will be organized for college students at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bengaluru, on October 4 and 5 from 9 AM to 1 PM. The quiz and poetry competitions will take place on Friday, October 4, and group singing and rangoli competitions will be held on Saturday, October 5.

Winners of the competitions will receive cash prizes: Rs 10,000 for first place, Rs 5,000 for second place, and Rs 3,000 for third place, along with mementos and certificates. The results will be announced on the same day at 1:00 PM, and all participants will receive certificates. Separate prizes will be awarded for each of the four categories.

Breakfast will be provided at 8 AM, and lunch will be served at 1:45 PM on the event day. Entry to the competition is free, and college students from Bengaluru and surrounding districts are eligible to participate. There is no registration fee, and participation will be limited to a certain number of contestants, with priority given to those who register first. The last date for registration is September 21.

Students are required to bring their college photo ID cards, as informed by the Hridayavahini Karnataka (Mangaluru) event organizers.
