Puttur: Likhith of St Philomena PU College qualifies for state level badminton tournament

Puttur, Sep 14: Likhith, a student of II ECBA at St Philomena PU College, has qualified for the state level badminton tournament after excelling in the district level badminton tournament.

The tournament was jointly organized by the Dakshina Kannada Pre-University Educational Board and Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Pre University College, Ujire, held at Indraprastha Stadium, Ujire on September 4.

Likhith, son of Krupala HS and Shamantha BN, has been trained by physical education directors Elias Pinto and Rajesh Mooliya. His achievement has been recognized by the correspondent, Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Mai De Deus educational institutions, and Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal, congratulated him on this success.
