Udupi: Risha Tanya Pinto from Barkur crowned ‘Miss Teen Karavali 2024’

Udupi, Sep 17: In a stunning display of talent and grace, Risha Tanya Pinto from Barkur has brought honour to her community by winning the prestigious title of 'Miss Teen Karavali 2024'. The event, part of a series of pageants organized by UPS model management, took place on September 15 at the AJ Grand Hotel in Mangaluru.

The competition featured four categories, Miss Teen Karavali, Miss Karavali, Mrs Karavali, and Mr Karavali, showcasing the diverse talents of the coastal region. Among fierce competition, Risha emerged victorious in the teen category, bringing pride to her parish and the wider Barkur community.

Risha Tanya is the daughter of Maxie Pinto and Reshma Rodrigues from the Hanehalli ward of Barkur parish. Beyond her pageant success, she is known for her active involvement in community activities, serving as a dedicated member of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Barkur unit.

The parish community has expressed immense pride in Risha's achievement. This recent victory adds to Risha's growing list of accomplishments. Earlier this year, she was crowned 'Miss Teen Grand Mangaluru 2024' in a pageant organized by the South Canara district administration. This earlier success demonstrated Risha's ability to excel on different platforms and paved the way for her latest triumph.

As Risha celebrates her new title, the community extends their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for her future endeavours.
