Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College organises science fest ‘Eureka’

Mangaluru, Sep 17: ‘Eureka’ - Science Fest, held on September 13 at St Agnes PU College, was a resounding success, bringing together students and faculty for a day of scientific exploration, creativity, and friendly competition, guided by expert MCs Vibha and Sharon, and warmly welcomed by Sanika.

The fest comprised six core competitions: life enact - science drama involved students to show their theatrical skills.

In science vortex competition - students participated enthusiastically and showcased their innovative ideas in the form of seminars.

 

Students brought life to the maths symbols through a dance in math rhythm competition.

In periodic cat walk, the models showcased their grace and represented an element from periodic table and highlighted the properties of element.

Bio rang weaved the ideas in unique way to visually explore biological themes in the form of rangoli.

Treasure finders, led by student explorers solved puzzles, riddles or challenges to uncover the next clue, leading them to the final treasure.

Interludes of spot quizzes and action songs maintained a lively atmosphere, and student feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

The overall championship was bagged by II PCMB B batch. II PCMC D batch emerged as the first runners-up and II PCMB A batch received second runners-up.

The Eureka Science Fest 2024 demonstrated the power of science to unite, educate, and inspire. St Agnes PU College looks forward to such future events fostering scientific curiosity and creativity among students.
