Kaup, Sep 18: A clash between two groups of youths occurred at a public place in front of the Rahmania Jumma Masjid in Manipura village, disrupting public peace.

Police officers on patrol approached the scene to stop the fight, but all involved fled the area. Upon questioning the locals, it was revealed that both groups were residents of Manipura. Kaup ASI Dayanand led the investigation, identifying members of the first group as Mohammad Izhuddin, Mohammad Siraj, Imran Khan, Adam, Safwan, and Areez.

The second group was found to include Rameez, Riyaz, Saleem, Anwar, Shameel, and a person known as Mamu. Kaup police have since registered a case against both groups for causing a public disturbance.

Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
