Beltangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrates Eil Milad

Beltangady, Sep 18: Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, also called Mawlid, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad was gloriously celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on September 17.

The programme solemnly began with a prayer session. Pradhyoth Rao welcomed the gathering wholeheartedly.

Anson Lobo introduced the chief guest Mohammad Yasir, priest of Ujire Mosque.

Correspondent Fr Walter D’Mello and headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto were present.

Khushi beautifully narrated the significance of the day. Students of class 9 and class 3, performed cultural events of traditional khawali and dances to embark the festive mood.

Correspondent gave a message on being united and treat everyone equally. Chief guest addressed the students to be responsible and respectful towards the elders.

Jwel D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Velona Pinto compered the programme.

Teachers Prabha and Shri Latha organised the entire programme successfully.
