Mangaluru: St Theresa's School shines at SAPMUN 2024

Mangaluru, Sep 18: The students of St Theresa's School made a mark at the prestigious SAPMUN 2024 (St Aloysius Model United Nations) event, held from September 13 to 15. Competing with numerous delegates from various institutions, the school's delegates showcased exceptional diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership skills, bringing laurels to the institution.

Samantha Rosario, representing Peru in the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), was awarded the 'Best Delegate' title for her outstanding contributions and exemplary performance during the sessions. Her dedication and knowledge of international security issues made her stand out in the committee.

In addition, Eshani Manish Sanil, representing the Czech Republic in the United Nations Women (UNW), earned the 'High Commendation' award for her skilful negotiation and comprehensive understanding of global gender issues.

Special recognitions were also received by Swati H M, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) delegate of Brazil, and Chriselle D’Souza, the United Nations Women (UNW) delegate of Brazil, both of whom were awarded 'Verbal Mentions' for their noteworthy contributions.

The principal of St Theresa's School congratulated all the participants for their remarkable achievements and praised their commitment to global awareness and diplomacy. These students have not only made the school proud but also set a high benchmark for future participants.
