Mangaluru, Sep 18: Famous astrologer and singer Uday Kumar emphasized that any art form must be mastered through dedication and determination, especially before competitions and performances. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Swara Kudla Season 6 music competition organized by the Coastal Music Artists' Association of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
The event was presided over by association president Deepak Raj Ullal. Former mayor of Mangaluru Diwakar Pandeshwar, MCC member Abdul Latheef Kanduka, and Ramesh Nayak, owner of Ratna's Wine Gate, were the chief guests, extending their best wishes.
Association founder-president Sadashiva Das Pandeshwar, vice president Radhakrishna Bhat Udupi, general secretary Keshav Kanila, and treasurer Satish honored the guests. Honorary advisor Tonse Pushkala Kumar welcomed the gathering.
Former presidents Jagadish Shetty, Muhammad Iqbal, Navagiri Ganesh, Ramesh Salyan, Mallika Shetty, and Subhashith Kumar, along with Mukthashreenivas Udupi, Husain Katipalla, Dinkar Pandeshwar, Dhanuraj, K R Karanth, Chaitra Suvarna Dhanya, Sri Jyoti, and others were present.
Muralidhar Kamath, Shinay, Pallavi Prabhu, Kiran Kumar, and Yashavanth G Soumya Bhat served as judges for the audition and semi-final rounds. VJ Shishan Kaudoor hosted and concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
