Moodbidri: Rising star from Carmel School dazzles at National Art Festival 2024-25

Moodbidri, Sep 20: Carmel School has yet another reason to celebrate as one of its talented students Ashwil Neil Lobo has been honoured with the prestigious Vincent Van Gogh certificate award at the Chinnara Chitra Chittara 2023-24 a National Level Children’s Chitra Kalotsav. This esteemed event organized by the Bannadamane Samskruthika Vedike Gadag in collaboration with the Karnataka Bala Vikas Academy Dharwad and Bal Bhavan Society Bengaluru, took place at the Agriculture University Dharwad from August 17 to 19.

Ashwil Neil Lobo was recognized for his exceptional artistry and creativity showcasing his dedication to the world of visual arts. His artwork which reflected the spirit of Vincent Van Gogh was widely appreciated by the judges and audience alike. The award presented as part of the National Children’s Chitra Kalotsav highlights the potential and talent of young artistes like Ashwil who continue to make Carmel School proud with their artistic achievements.

Apart from his artistic skill Ashwil is talented and hardworking student who excels in many areas. He won a gold medal in karate at the international level making the school proud. He is also dedicated to his studies showing great discipline and focus. His positive attitude and humility inspire his classmates to do their best.

This achievement stands testament to Carmel School's commitment to nurturing and encouraging artistic and creative talents among its students providing them with platforms to explore and excel in diverse fields.
