Udupi: Jayakar Shetty Indrali elected president of Tulukoota

Udupi, Sep 23: Jayakar Shetty Indrali has been elected as new president of cultural organization Tulukoota, Udupi for the year 2024-25.

The new office-bearers were appointed at the annual general body meeting of the organization held at Jagannath Sabhabhavan, Udupi.

The other office bearers of the organization, founding president Dr Bhaskaranand Kumar, general secretary Gangadhar Kediyoor, treasurer Chaitanya M G, vice presidents Bhuvanaprasad hegde, Manohar Shetty Tonse, Divakar Sanil and Rashmi Shenoy, joint secretaries Jyothi S Devadiga, Santhosh Kumar, and Prasanna Kumar, organizational secretaries Mohan Shetty Moodanidamboor, Vidya Saraswathi, Uday Kumar Tenkanidiyoor.

The advisory board of the organization includes Vishwanath Shenoy, Muralidhar Upadhyay, Dr Gananth Ekkar, S A Krishnayya, Bananje Babu Amin, Manorama Shetty, S V Bhat, Ravishankar Rai and Shantarama Shetty.

Tulu Minadana programme coordinator Dr V K Yadav, Tulu traditional event coordinator Dayananda K, Tulu textbook coordinator Vishwanath Bayari, Nittoor Tulu folk song competition coordinator Jayaram Shettigar Manipal, Aatikoota coordinator Poornima Shetty and Tara Sathish, Aati Kashaya coordinator Vivekananda N, sonada sese event coordinator Vedavathi Shetty, Madharangidarang program coordinator Yashodha Keshav, Paniyadi Novel award coordinator Shilpa joshi, Kemtoor tulu drama competition coordinator Prabhakar Bhandari, Tulu gobbulu competition coordinator Ratnakar Indrali and U S Umar and media coordinator Bharathi T K.

As many as 40 members have been elected to the executive committee.
