Moodbidri: Carmel school organizes shaping activity

Media Release

Moodbidri, Sep 23: A fun and engaging shapes activity was organized at Carmel School for LKG A and LKG B. Students were divided into five groups, each assigned a shape circle, square, hexagon, pentagon, and rhombus. The children brought objects related to their shapes, enhancing their understanding.

UKG students participated by making rangoli drawings of various shapes. Throughout the activity, the children learned about the sides and corners of shapes. They also pasted shape cut-outs and learned a new rhyme about shapes.

Additional activities included creating shapes using sticks and pista shells. The children also participated in games related to shapes, sitting in groups based on the shape they represented. As part of the circle group, they formed a wheel using a blue ribbon.

This activity helped the students understand shapes in a creative and interactive way.
