Mangaluru: KMC Hospital launches exciting competitions on behalf of World Heart Day

Mangaluru, Sep 23: On behalf of World Heart Day, KMC Hospital is thrilled to announce engaging competitions aimed at raising awareness about heart health.

Reels competition: This edu-tainment activity is intended to bring out young talents and create awareness about heart health, this initiative invites participants to create and share short video of 60 secs highlighting on the topic: 'Heart for action - The role of youth'. The entries should be original creation of the participant, must not have copyright materials and must be shot in portrait format. A team can consist of maximum 5 members. In case of minor (below 18 yrs) members, team should comprise atleast one guardian/parent. Last date to submit the entry is September 26. Cold cookery competition: An initiative to promote healthy diet and lifestyle, this competition will be organised on 3rd Floor, Avatar Hotel, at Attavar on September 28 at 4 pm. Dish must be created at the venue without use of fire or heat. Time limit is of 50 minutes, with maximum of 3 members per team. Ingredients to be brought by the team, dish must be vegetarian with no processed or half cooked items allowed. The dish must promote heart health. Judgement will be based on taste, presentation and nutritional value. Last date to register your entry is September 26. WhatsApp your teams details to 9008167071.
