Maoists Kill Two in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Nov 24 (IANS): Maoist guerrillas killed two brothers in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, alleging they were police informers, police said Thursday.

Kubokerai and Kutekerai were abducted from their home late Wednesday. Their bodies were recovered Thursday near Silphori village in West Singhbhum, around 190 km from Ranchi.

Police also recovered Maoist pamphlets claiming responsibility for the killings.

However, a police officer said the brothers were active Maoists and were eliminated due to internal rivalry.
