Mangaluru, Sep 27: MLA Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath, along with managing director of Daijiworld Media Network Private Limited Walter Nandalike, inaugurated India’s first intelligent CUV, the MG Windsor, at Jubilant Motor Works Private Limited, which deals in Morris Garages (MG) vehicles, at Kulur on Friday, September 27.
Actor Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, corporator Anil Kumar, Kadri Manohar Shetty, and Madhusudhan from Janani Tours and Travels were present.
Pakshal Shah, ASM, JSW MG Motors India, Sunil Pai, COO, MG Jubilant Motor Works, Vijay Mandanna, VP, MG Jubilant Motor Works, and Rakesh Verma, sales head were also present. Dixon compered the event.
JSW MG Motor India announced the prices for the newly launched MG Windsor, starting at Rs 13,49,800 (ex-showroom). India’s first intelligent CUV combines the comfort of a sedan and the expanse of an SUV, offering a luxurious business-class experience to customers.
The CUV features a futuristic aerodynamic design, spacious and opulent interiors, enhanced safety, smart connectivity, driving comfort, and many high-tech features. Customers are also provided with peace of mind through initiatives such as a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, an assured 60% buyback after three years, and one-year free charging at public chargers using the eHUB by MG app. The Windsor will be available in four color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.
The Windsor features an AeroGlide design language that transcends traditional segmentation. The opulent interiors offer spacious Aero Lounge seats that recline to 135 degrees, coupled with an expansive Infinity View Glass Roof, enhancing the business-class experience. Immersive entertainment and smart connectivity features are powered by a 15.6” GRANDVIEW Touch Display in the central console.
The MG Windsor is equipped with a 38 kWh Li-ion battery pack, which is IP67 certified, delivering an impressive performance of 100KW (136 ps) power and 200 Nm torque through four driving modes (Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport), resulting in a 332 km** ARAI-certified range on a single charge.
