Dear Rehna, I fully agree with your comments on AIR INDIA' state of affairs. It is becoming from bad to worst. I was a regular traveler by AIR INDIA but I stopped as feel more comfortable with other airlines price, wise, service wise and for many other reasons.Once I traveled by AIR INDIA from JFK to Mumbai and then to Mangalore after two days. They charged me the domestic baggage allowance even though I told that I am a passenger from New York. I was told that since I broke the journey for more than 24 hours I had to pay the domestic baggage allowance and my wife and myself had to pay excess baggage. Wake up AIR INDIA.

The Management of Air Inida should wake up How to generate revenue. Hope JRD Tata is crying seeing the state of AirIndia. Give good service and keep affordable Fares and not the Fares as you wish. The Management should be sent fro training on other airlines and learn from them. It is high time for the government to Close down Air India.
