Mount Carmel’s Jesnia Correa triumphs at CBSE South Zone Roller Skating Championship

Mangaluru, Sep 28: Jesnia Correa, an outstanding grade VIII student of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru has once again proven her skating talent by winning a gold medal in the 500m rink race and a bronze medal in the lap road race at the CBSE South Zone Roller Skating Championship held at Good Shepherd Central School, Belagavi from September 22 to 25.

Her incredible achievement has earned her a spot in the national-level competition, further cementing her place as one of the rising stars in the roller-skating arena. The national event will be held at the same venue in Belagavi from October 24 to 27. Jesnia’s dedication, hard work and skill have consistently brought immense pride to her school and her family.

Already a CBSE national-level gold medallist in the previous year’s 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023, Jesnia now gets trained at Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar under the guidance of coaches Mohan and Ramanand. Her parents, Jerome Correa and Preethna Correa of Bejai proudly celebrate her accomplishments as she continues to skate her way to success.

All at Mount Carmel Central School have applauded Jesnia’s remarkable win and wished her the best for the upcoming national championship.
