Mangaluru, Sep 29: The NSS units 7 and 8 of Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management (YIASCM), under the leadership of programme officers Sheethal Nayak and Colin Janet, organized a beach cleaning activity at Panambur Beach as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign. The event aimed to promote environmental stewardship and raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sustainability.

Volunteers actively participated in restoring the beach’s natural beauty by collecting plastic waste, debris, and other pollutants. This hands-on initiative encouraged participants to take ownership of their surroundings and contribute to preserving the environment for future generations.

The beach cleaning activity not only emphasized the significance of community service but also instilled a sense of responsibility among the volunteers towards maintaining a cleaner and healthier environment. The event concluded with enthusiastic participation from all, making a positive impact on the Panambur coastline.
