Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (MS)

Puttur, Sep 29: A complaint has been filed at the city police station against individuals accused of desecrating the laddu prasada from the Tirupati Venkateshwara Temple.

The complaint, submitted by Subramanya Nattoja, claims that the laddu given to devotees at the Tirupati Venkateshwara Temple is a sacred offering that has been made unholy for political reasons, hurting the sentiments of millions of Hindus.

Nattoja alleges that the mixing of animal fat in the laddu is not only dangerous but also constitutes an intentional act aimed at insulting the Hindu religion and the beliefs of its followers.

He has requested that cases be registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the IPC concerning food adulteration, as well as Section 291 regarding misuse of power. Ganesh Prasad A was present during the filing of the complaint.
