Puttur: St Philomena College (Autonomous) NCC units leads ‘Swachch Hi Seva’ cleanliness drive

Puttur, Oct 1: In a remarkable initiative under the Swachch Hi Seva movement, the NCC units of St Philomena College (Autonomous), comprising the 3/19 Karnataka Battalion NCC army wing and the 5 Karnataka Naval unit NCC, jointly organized a cleanliness drive near Father Patrao Circle.

Enthusiastic NCC cadets meticulously cleaned the area, focusing on removing plastic waste and other non-recyclable materials.

Under the leadership of army NCC officer Capt Johnson David Sequeira and Naval NCC officer Tejaswi Bhat, the cadets not only contributed to maintaining public hygiene but also raised awareness among the local community about the importance of cleanliness.
