Mangaluru, Oct 1: Coastalwood actress Samata Amin shared her dedication to her upcoming Tulu film ‘Middle Class Family’, directed by Rahul Amin. "I have put my heart and soul into this film," she said.
Samata Amin will be paired opposite Vineeth Kumar in Middle Class Family, one of the most anticipated films this year, following their blockbuster hit Raj Sounds and Lights.
Directed by Rahul Amin and produced by Anand Kumpala, the movie features Vineeth Kumar and Samata Amin in the lead roles. The film is being presented by Vaibhav Flix in collaboration with Mango Pickle Entertainment and HPR Films (Hariprasad). Supporting roles are played by Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sandeep Shetty, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Ravi Rama Kunja, Saheel Rai, Navneeth Shetty Kadri, Sharan Chilimbi, and Gammath Kalavider Dubai.
Samata Amin said, "The audience won't be disappointed. I gave 200% despite facing health issues. Middle Class Family has given me a completely different look on screen for my character Kushi, and I poured my heart and soul into this role."
She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on the film: "I was approached for Raj Sounds and Lights, but I couldn’t be a part of that project. Now, after a few years, I’m grateful to work with the same hardworking team, and it’s been a worthy journey."
Speaking about her co-star Vineeth, Samata added, "When you work back-to-back, it naturally becomes a comfort zone. There's no need to take time to adjust; everything flows easily and flexibly."
Describing the film, she said, "Middle Class Family is about togetherness. The way you see the team on screen is exactly how we are off-screen as well. There are many elements in the movie that will be revealed upon its release."
Samata Amin, originally from Mangaluru but born and raised in Mumbai, holds a degree in Management Studies with a specialization in HR and a diploma in software. Aside from acting, she is passionate about dancing and has worked as a background dancer in films like Saaho, Maari 2, and Sammy 2. She has also taught dance in schools.
