Kundapur, Oct 1: "A school is not merely a place for learning letters; it is like a family where teachers play a vital role in the overall development of a child's personality. The talents within students are unveiled in school. Our achievements should inspire others when they see them, and we must strive to make such accomplishments. In this regard, Siddhivinayaka Educational Institution has set a Guinness World Record. There should be more such records in the future, and continuity must be maintained," said former chairperson of the Backward Classes Commission, Jayaprakash Hegde.

He was speaking as a guest of honor at the Guinness World Record certificate presentation ceremony during the silver jubilee celebration of Siddhivinayaka Residential School, Hattiangadi. The institution had achieved two Guinness World Records through Rubik's Cube in the last academic year.

"We should always pursue success and make continuous efforts. When we experience failure, we should not be discouraged but face it with composure. This will increase our strength to win. We must maintain curiosity about what lies ahead, as this leads to achievements," he added.

Dr N P Narayana Shetty from Alva's College, Moodbidri, presided over the event.

Rajesh Karanth, member of the Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple administration board; Girish S Nayak, president of Tallur Gram Panchayat; Veenarashni M, trustee of SSS Prathisthana, Hattiangadi, and administrator of Siddhivinayaka Residential School, Hattiangadi, were also present.

Sharana Kumar, secretary of SSS Prathisthana and principal of Siddhivinayaka Residential School, delivered the introductory speech.

Teacher Poornima read out the list of students who made the Guinness World Record. The event was hosted by student Deeksha Kori, with Priya welcoming the gathering and Tanishka offering the vote of thanks.
