Mangaluru: Special camp, Gandhi Jayanthi celebration inaugurated at Yenepoya College

Mangaluru, Oct 3: The NSS Units II & III of Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre and NSS Unit-I Yenepoya Homeopathy Medical College successfully organized an inauguration of a special camp and Gandhi Jayanthi celebration in NSS special camp- 2024 at Balepuni, Mudungar Katte Government Higher Primary School.

The camp was inaugurated and followed by NSS flag hosting by the honorable vice chancellor, Dr M Vijayakumar, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), with Sri SK Pandey, undersecretary, Government of India, gracing the occasion as the guest of honour. Carthiguene, regional director, was also present, adding to the event's significance.

Sukanya Rai, president, Balepuni Gram Panchayat, Ahmed Basheer, vice president, Balepuni Gram Panchayat, Venkatesh, PDO, Balepuni Gram Panchayat and Dr Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed, principal & dean YPCRC, delivered the welcome address and Dr Shivaprasad K, dean, YHMCH, facilitated the guest, Abdul Rahamanulla, programme officer NSS UNIT-II, YPCRC, organising chairperson, Dr Shashikant Kammar, program officer, NSS UNIT-I YHMCH, organising secretary & Dr Darshan J, programme officer, NSS UNIT-III YPCRC, organising convener & members organizing the programme effectively and the programme was attended by Puttama, the headmistress of the school, as well as instructors, parents, and all other panchayat members.

Additionally, the vice principals and staff of YPCRC and YHMCH were in attendance. The programme concluded successfully.
