Managluru, Oct 4: St Aloysius (Deemed-to-be University) is proud to announce the grand 'Aloysian Fest', a national-level undergraduate fest, to be held on October 8 in the main campus. This spectacular event brings together seven fests under one umbrella, providing a platform for students from across the country to showcase their exceptional skills, talents, and innovative ideas.
The Aloysian Fest 2024 is organized under the patronage of Fr Melwin J Pinto SJ, rector; guidance of Dr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor; and supervision of Dr Alwyn D'Sa and Dr Ronald Nazareth, registrars. The advisory committee comprises Dr Loveena Lobo, director, Maffei Block, and Dr Asha Abraham, director, LCRI Block.
Seven exciting fests will converge at Aloysian Fest 2024:
1. Ark of Arts (organized by the PG departments of social sciences)
2. Saksham (organized by the PG studies and research in social work)
3. Udhgam (organized by the PG studies and research in commerce)
4. Synapse (organized by the PG departments of biological sciences)
5. Quanta (organized by the PG departments of physical sciences)
6. Aloysiad (sports) by the department of physical education
7. Kalaatrividha (cultural extravaganza)
Over 150 colleges from across India are expected to participate with walking of 2000 students making this a truly national-level event. The fest promises to be an unforgettable experience, fostering connections, inspiring creativity, and celebrating unity in diversity.
Staff coordinators Dr Florin Shelomith Soans and Renita Joyce Fernandes, assistant staff coordinators Jovita Carrol Soans and Jeesu George, and student coordinators Michelle Michael D'Souza, Sheik Mohammad Miswan, Sathvik D S, and Shrawani Gowda have worked tirelessly to ensure the fest's success.
