Udupi, Oct 5: Renowned YouTuber Sachin Shetty, known for his engaging travel content on the Shutterbox Films channel, has officially launched his ambitious project titled "Discover North East." The journey promises to cover approximately 14,000 kilometers over 45 days, aiming to explore the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and practices of northern India.

The journey commenced on Saturday, October 5, with a visit to the historic Hosamarigudi Temple in Kaup, where blessings for a safe and successful trip were sought. This was followed by a meet-and-greet and an official flag-off ceremony at Empire Mall, M G Road, Mangaluru, which invited public participation.

Before setting off, Sachin Shetty sought blessings at the Kapu Mariyamma Temple, a gesture tied to his mission of raising awareness for the temple's renovation and the Navadurga Yajna aimed at rejuvenating the sacred site.

The Kapu Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple Development Committee, led by president K Vasudeva Shetty, general secretary Ramesh Hegde Kalya, and Publicity Committee Coordinator Raghuram Shetty Koppalangadi, gathered to offer their prayers and blessings, sending him off with prasadam.

For this unique expedition, Sachin Shetty will travel in a Maruti Jimny alongside a friend. Notably, while he has undertaken numerous bike trips in the past, this journey marks his inaugural experience exploring by car, showcasing his commitment to embracing new challenges.

In conjunction with the journey, Shutterbox Films announced the project "Discover North East: A Dream Trip," aimed at unveiling the hidden beauty and cultural richness of Northeast India. This exploration will traverse 17 states, including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, and all North-Eastern states such as Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam. The route will also loop back through Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka.
