Mangaluru, Oct 7: Yenepoya Dental College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) organised an orientation programme for the firsy year BDS students, batch of 2024-25 on October 1.
The students and parents were introduced to the various statutory bodies. The programme commenced with an invocation by Dr Syed Miqdad. Following a welcome address by the dean, faculty of dentistry Dr Sham S Bhat, principal Dr Laxmikanth Chatra gave insights into the growth of the institution, infrastructure and facilities.
Dean of student affairs Dr Maji Jose briefed regarding the student support initiatives and the chief administrative officer Lt Col Pankajakshan spoke about the code of conduct. Vice principal Dr Hassan Sarfaraz was also present on the dais. Dr Varsha Upadya and Dr Raksha Ballal were the masters of ceremony.
