Mumbai, Oct 13: Gopalakrishna Public Trust, Gokula, and BSKB Association jointly organized the Deeparadhane on the holy day of Maha Navami, as part of Sharannavarathri, on Saturday, October 13, at Gokula auditorium with grandeur and devotion.

The pooja rituals were led by chief priest Vedamurthy Daregudde Srinivasa Bhat. Purohits formed a large mandala in the auditorium and placed Sri Devi at the center. Various rituals including Saptashati Parayana, Bhuvaneshwari Pooja, Lalita Sahasranama Pathana, and Deeparadhane were conducted as per tradition. The association's vice president, Avinash Shastri, and his wife, Shyamala Shastri, were the Yajamanas, while Rama Vittala Kalluraya performed the sankalpa for the devotees.

The Gokula Bajana Mandali chanted stotras as part of Saraswati Pooja, where a photo of Sharada Matha and religious books were placed. Rama Vittala Kalluraya performed the Mangalarati for Sri Sharada Devi.

Kannike and Suvasini Poojas were sponsored by the Badrinarayana Pilinje family after the Maha Mangalarati of Sri Devi. Kumari Arohi Varamballi played the role of Kannika, while Prasanna Shastri, Latha Chandrashekhara Rao, and Shanti Alevoor represented Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, and Maha Saraswati, respectively.

Trustee Krishna Acharya, BSKB Association vice president Vamanapa Holla, treasurer Haridas Bhat, honorary secretary Ananta Padmanabha Poti, members of the executive committee, and hundreds of devotees participated in the religious rituals. Theertha Prasada and Prasada Bojana were served to all the devotees.
