Mangaluru: AIMIT hosts Ayudha Puja

Media Release

Mangaluru, Oct 14: AIMIT hosted Ayudha Puja on Thursday, October 10. AIMIT has a history of blessing its machinery and vehicles, so this year's event was planned as well, according to Lancy Pinto, the maintenance officer, who welcomed everyone.

The blessing ceremony was led by director Dr (Fr) Kiran Cotha, along with Fr Roshan. He emphasized the importance of Ayudha Puja and the need to take care of equipment. "AIMIT has a considerable amount of machinery. Not only on the day of blessing, but every day, it is crucial that the machinery be maintained. So that we may use all of the machinery to its fullest potential, let us ask God's blessings on it all," he said.

Later, various kinds of machinery, including generators, a food court kitchen, a sewage treatment plant, gymnasiums, and vehicles were blessed. Every member of the support and non-teaching staff was present. The vote of thanks was proposed by Sunitha.
