Mangaluru: Free cancer screening, awareness camp to be held in Paldane on Oct 27

Mangaluru, Oct 14: In a community effort to promote early detection and awareness of cancer, St Raphael Mary’s Convent and St Teresa Church, Paldane, in association with the Indian Cancer Society, are organizing a free cancer screening and awareness camp on Sunday, October 27.

The initiative, led by the Jewels Group, will take place at St Raphael Mary’s Convent, near St Teresa Church, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The camp will be conducted under the guidance of expert doctors from Father Muller’s Medical College, Mangaluru, and will include separate screenings for men and women. Participants will receive valuable information about various health issues, including the causes and symptoms of breast cancer, menstrual problems, ulcers that do not heal, indigestion, anemia, bone pain, and abnormal bleeding.

Organizers have urged the public to take advantage of this important opportunity for free health screening and education.
