Kundapur, Oct 14: A vibrant meeting at the Sahana Hotel in Koteshwar on Monday, October 14, set the stage for the upcoming Legislative Council elections. Ivan D'Souza, KPCC in-charge for Udupi district, declared, “The BJP's attempts to destabilise the people’s government through false accusations are futile.” He called for support for candidate Raju Poojari, asserting it would empower local governance and strengthen Siddaramaiah's leadership.
Former MP K Jayaprakash Hegde emphasised, “Only the Congress government, which brings economic strength to every household, can drive true development.”
District president Ashok Kumar Kodavooru chaired the meeting, which featured candidates Raju Poojari, Kishan Hegde, Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, and others.
Kundapura block president Hariprasad Shetty welcomed attendees, while Krishna Poojari offered the vote of thanks, and block secretary Vinod Crasto facilitated the proceedings.
