Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School celebrates International Day of Girl Child

Mangaluru, Oct 16: Lourdes Central School celebrated the International Day of Girl Child with great enthusiasm and spirit, on October 15. The school assembly featured a special song promoting the empowerment and strength of girls.

The highlight of the event was a thoughtful skit performed by the students of class VI, showcasing the achievements of iconic Indian women such as Sudha Murthy, Kiran Bedi, Mary Kom, and Shakti Mohan, among others. The skit underscored the brilliance and success of women across various fields.

In his address, principal Johnson Sequeira congratulated the girl students of the school and encouraged them to continue excelling in all areas of life.

The assembly was conducted by the students of class XI, under the guidance of Neema Lobo. The event concluded with the rendition of the school song, bringing a meaningful celebration to a close.
