YCS Moodbidri unit organizes cultural programme ‘Talento’

Moodbidri, Oct 20: YCS Moodbidri unit in collaboration with YCS Moodbidri deanery organised a cultural programme ‘TALENTO’ on October 13 in Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri, main hall. The whole event was managed and organised by YCS Moodbidri Unit.

Jevisha D'Souza secretary of YCS Moodbidri unit convened the inauguration. The inauguration programme was done by Fr Onil D'Souza followed by Fr Melwyn D'Souza - YCS Moodbidri Deanery director, Vikas Lasrado & Savita Saldanha - judges of the event , Ronald D'Souza, Vijoy Cardoza, Janet Fernandes- YCS Moodbidri unit animators, Kristan Tarun Mendonca - YCS Moodbidri Deanery president and Layshun Fernandes - YCS Moodbidri unit president.

Deyon Saldanha and Leswin Sequeira members of YCS DEXCO 2024 also attended the event.

The prayer song was led by members of YCS Moodbidri unit. The president of YCS Moodbidri unit Layshun Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Arnold D'Almeida cultural secretary of YCS Moodbidri unit gave the vote of thanks.
A total of 9 YCS units of Moodbidri Deanery took part in the competition.

The 1st place was awarded to YCS Moodbidri unit, 2nd place to YCS Shirthady unit and 3rd place to YCS Alangar unit.

Eshitha D'Souza Yuvatare representative of YCS the Moodbidri Deanery convened the valedictory. The valedictory programme was led by Fr Melwyn D'Souza YCS Moodbidri Deanery director, Kristan Tarun Mendonca YCS Moodbidri Deanery president welcomed the gathering, Melvita D'Silva vice president of YCS Moodbidri Deanery gave the vote of thanks.

There were 225 members from different units of Moodbidri Deanery attended the event and the event was a great success.
