Ranchi, Dec 4 (IANS): Maoist guerrillas blasted railway tracks at two places, torched vehicles while enforcing 48 hours shutdown in Jharkhand to protest killing of their leader Kishanji, police said.
According to police, Maoist first blasted railway track between Dumri Bihar and Gomia situated in Bokaro district around 1 a.m. and later blasted railway track between Hehegara and Chipadohar stations situated in Latehar district.
Railway services have been affected on Central India Cord (CIC). More than dozen train have stranded at several stations of Jharkhand.
Maoist Guerrillas torched three dumpers in Pakur district and one truck in Hazaribagh districts of Jharkhand.
On Saturday evening, Maoists had ambushed convoy of Independent Lok Sabha MP Inder Singh Namdhari in Jharkhand's Latehar district. In the ambush, Namdhari had close shave but 10 policemen were killed in the attack.
