Mangaluru: Free health check-up camp held at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi

Mangaluru, Oct 20: A free health check-up camp was organized at Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi on Sunday, October 20. The event began with prayers and blessings led by Fr Dominic Vaz.

The camp was inaugurated by Dr Akshay, local corporator Keshav Maroli, Catholic Sabha president Vincent Pinto, and church governing council vice president Prakash Saldanha, who lit the ceremonial lamp.

With the support of Father Muller College Hospital, Dr Vidya Mohan and Dr Kevin Pais conducted ear, nose, throat, and general check-ups, along with paediatric care. More than 300 local residents benefitted from the services provided at the camp.

The event was organized by members of the Catholic Sabha Bajjodi unit, along with the church governing council and the Seva Commission. Renita Nazareth, the commission's coordinator, was present at the event, and Catholic Sabha secretary Irene Pinto co-ordinated the programme. Catholic Sabha president Vincent Pinto delivered the vote of thanks.
