Puttur, Oct 24: St Philomena PU College, Puttur, in association with Christ Educational Institutions, Mangalore University, proudly hosted a presentation organized by Ranga Baduku Trust, Bengaluru. The event featured a captivating one-man show by renowned artist Dr Helen Mysore.
The chief guest, Fr Ivan D'Souza, head of Christ Educational Institutions, Mangalore University, emphasised the significance of Mother Teresa's selfless service. "Mother Teresa is a shining example of compassion, dedicating her life caring for the sick and dying," he said, adding, "We should draw inspiration from her remarkable qualities and strive to emulate them in our own lives, serving society with kindness and humility."
Dr Helen Mysore mesmerised the audience with a stirring mono act performance, bringing to life the story of humanitarian Theresamma, a selfless and compassionate individual. This thought-provoking presentation highlighted the importance of empathy and kindness.
Dr Beluru Raghunandan, the story writer, costume designer, music composer and producer were present on the occasion.
Rama Naik, Dept of Kannada welcomed the gathering. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal, St Philomena PU College, Puttur proposed vote of thanks. Usha A of Dept of Kannada compered the programme.
