Dubai, Dec 4: Bunts Throwball Dubai, UAE is organizing its Biennial Throwball tournament at the Wanderers Sports Club – Sharjah, UAE on Friday December 9.
This year’s special attraction would be, along with ladies match, a battle for title amongst men and children, only "group" representing ladies "team" would be allowed to participate for mens’ match.
Two children's team will be formed on the match day.
Once the teams have confirmed their participation, they will be divided into two groups by drawing lots. After the league matches the top 2 teams from both groups would qualify for the semi-finals. The league matches are played for one game of 21 points, whoever reaches 21 points first are awarded as the winners. The semi-final and the final will be played for 3 sets of 15 points and whoever reaches 15 points first are awarded as the winners of the set. This may change according to available time.
The organizing committee of BUNTS THROW BALL DUBAI, UAE has promised that this will be a grand, well organized and well attended tournament. The tournament will begin at 8.00 AM sharp. The organizers will serve free breakfast for all the nominated teams and free lunch will also be served for all the invitees and guests.
It will be a great fun fare for all sports lovers of UAE.
Winners and runners up will be awarded attractive trophies. Organizing committee shall be the final authority in all matters.
Entry fee will be AED 250 for each team.
