New Delhi, Dec 5 (Agencies): The no-confidence motion moved against the Congress government by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly will be put to vote today.
But there is no need for the government to lose sleep as the TDP and Jagan Mohan Reddy require the support of at least 45-50 MLAs to

dethrone chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Sunday saw hectic parleys, moves, counter-moves and feverish political drama as the players involved in the no-trust motion batted all day long to put up a 'healthy' score for and against the Congress government.

The crisis that stared at the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh was blown with the 17-member Praja Rajyam Party group deciding to vote against the motion.

Praja Rajyam Party issued a whip to all his legislators asking them to vote against the no-confidence motion.

TRS issued a whip to its MLAs to vote against the Congress government.
 
"We have issued a whip against the Government and for the no-confidence motion," TRS MLA and party president K Chanderasekhar Rao's son K T Rama Rao said.

The Congress will have to muster the support of at least 144 members to defeat the no-confidence motion. On paper, Congress has 153 MLAs and the support of 17 PRP and seven MIM MLAs.

The parties which support the no-confidence motion include TDP- 87, TRS- 12, CPI- 4 , BJP- 2, one each from CPM, Lok Satta and YSR Congress and one independent.
