Beltangady, Dec 5: In View of the annual feast of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar, the Confraternity (Corpus Christi) Sunday was celebrated on December 4.
Fr Henry Vas, Capuchin, Dayalbagh, Ujire, was the main celebrant. He said in his homily, “Eucharistic Lord unites us and nourishes us with his own body and blood, Let us be united always as one parish, around the Eucharistic table”.
After the mass, solemn Eucharistic procession was organized in the Madanthyar town. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the parish priest thanked all those who were actively involved in the feast.
Fr Rohith D’Costa, assistant parish priest Fr Rajesh Madtha and Fr Melwin D’Souza Belguam were present on the occasion. More than 2,000 people participated in the feast.
