Kadaba, Oct 28: Police raided an illegal sand extraction site in Mayipaje, Aitoor village, where sand was being unlawfully mined from the Kumaradhara River.

Acting on a tip-off, police seized a vehicle loaded with sand on Saturday.

Both the vehicle and the confiscated sand have been handed over to the mining department.
