M'lore: Karavali Lekakiyara-Vachakiyara Sangha Silver Jubilee Inaugural on Dec 6

Mangalore, Dec 6: The inaugural of the silver jubilee celebrations of Karavali Lekakiyara–Vachakiyara Sangha of undivided Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod district will be held at Sahitya Sadan, Karavali Lekakiyara–Vachakiyara Sangh, Urwa Store, on Tuesday December 6.

Nagamani S Rao, Bangalore, will inaugurate the function between 10 am and 11 am.

Dr Mallika Ganti, Nandihalli, Bellary, will be the chief guest on the occasion. Various seminars will be held from 11.30 am.

Nadoja Dr Sara Abubakker will preside over the seminar on ‘Women Organization : Achievements and Challenges’ from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm on Tuesday.

Dr Vasundara Bhupati, M C Lalita, Dr Ujwala Hiremat, Suma Dwarakanat, Mitraprabha Hegde, Sulochana Tilak, Vasanti Shetty Brahmavar, and Jayasree Anantapur will participate in the seminar.

Savita Nagabhushan, Shimoga, will preside over the poets’session from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm on Tuesday.

Poets Banu Mustaq, Chandrakala Nandavar, Madhavi Bhandary Kerekona, Ba Ha Ramakumari, Anupama H S, D B Razia, Janaki M Brahmavar, and Sasilekha B will participate in the poets’ session.

Bhuvaneshwari Hegde, Mangalore, will preside over the elocution session.

Vijaya Sridar, Satyavati Harikrishna, Nagaratna Chandrashekar, Mohini Manjunath, and Susheela R Rao will participate in the session.
