Bantwal: Yuva Vahini holds Baidashree Billava Premier League Cricket Tournament

Bantwal, Oct 28: The initiative by Yuva Vahini Vahini to aid the underprivileged through sports in memory of the renowned social worker, the late K Sesappa Kotian, has become a source of inspiration and motivation for others, stated Arjun Bhandarkar, social worker and founder of Save Life Charitable Trust.

He inaugurated the Baidashree Billava Premier League Cricket Tournament on October 27 by lighting the ceremonial lamp at the Bantwal SVS School grounds, under the auspices of the Yuva Vahini Vahini Bantwal unit.

Entrepreneur and president of the Annapoorneshwari Temple, BC Road, Bhuvanesh Pachinadka, unveiled the cricket tournament trophy.

Former president of Keonics, Harikrishna Bantwal, along with Lohit Akashbhavan, inaugurated the tournament by participating in the first game.

The Yuva Vahini Vahini Bantwal unit’s former presidents Ramachandra Suvarna, Rajesh Suvarna, Rajesh Mescom, Arun Kumar, Harish Kotian Kudane, vice president Narayana Poojary Pallikanda, and sports director Madhusudan Madva welcomed the gathering, while coordinator Vikram Shanti delivered the vote of thanks. Yuva Vahini Vahini Bantwal unit president Dinesh Suvarna Rai presided over and compered the event.
