Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School kindergarten organizes ‘Festive Fervour’

Mangaluru, Oct 29: Lourdes Central School (LCS) kindergarten section organized various competitions for Pre KG, KG 1 and KG 2 in connection to festivals under the banner ‘Festive Fervour’ on October 26.

A rangoli competition using flower petals / leaves was conducted for Pre KG in the Pre-Primary Hall of Lourdes Central School.

A card making competition was conducted for the KG 1 students in their respective classrooms.

The judges for the rangoli and card making competitions were teachers from Lourdes Central School.

A dance competition was conducted for the KG 2 students in LCS Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall. Gautami S and Ashwija Rao well versed in classical and western dance were the judges for the competition.

This competition was conducted to express their artistic abilities, to promote physical, emotional and social well-being.

The children expressed their joy and happiness through their different activities. It was a beautiful sight to see the beautiful work of the children in all. It was a feast to the eyes of the judges and the audiences.

Principal Fr Johnson L Sequiera in general congratulated all the participants, parents, teachers, and those who worked for this programme. He thanked the parents for encouraging their little ones and being a strong pillar of support to the school in all the events.

The programme ended expressing gratitude to each and every one who worked for the programme. The programme was compered by Lydia D’Souza.
