Beltangady, Dec 6: Kalasa Night Fighters bagged the ‘Jain Premier League (JPL) T – 10 Trophy’ and a cash award of Rs 40,000 in the floodlit tournament held at Ratnavarma Heggade stadium, Ujire, on Saturday December 3 and Sunday December 4.
It was organized by Youth Jain Milan, Bangalore. Aliyoor Friends were the runners-up who bagged a cash award of Rs 20,000.
Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade congratulated the youth during the prize distribution ceremony held on Sunday night.
D Surendra Kumar, Harshedra Kumar, Dr B Yashovarma, Yuvaraj Ballal, and D Shreyas Kumar were present on the occasion.
Satyendra and Veerendra of Kalasa Night Fighters were adjudged best batsman and best bowler. Noushad of Aliyoor Friends was adjudged best batsman while Nishant of Aliyoor Friends bagged the Individual trophy.
