Mangaluru, Oct 30: Interschool AICS Swimming Competition of the ICSE and CBSE Schools of Udupi and D K district was held at Yemmekere organized by The Yenepoya School.
In a remarkable display of talent, Ayushmaan Tailor clinched gold in the 200m individual medley and 50m butterfly events, along with a silver in the 50m backstroke in the boys U-14 category. Idhanth Shetty also shone with a gold in backstroke and a bronze in the 50m freestyle in the boys U-12 category. Meanwhile, Siddhi Shetty secured gold in the backstroke for girls U-10.
The team also brought home a silver in the medley relay, featuring Idhanth Shetty, Isa Saril Ali, Anav Shetty, and Parash Debnath, and a bronze in the freestyle relay with Idhanth Shetty, Isa Saril Ali, Dwijraj Dattattray Parabhu, and Parash Debnath contributing to the win.
