Mangaluru, Oct 30: On the occasion of 9th National Ayurveda day Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana, A constituent Unit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University felicitated a renowned Ayurveda practitioner Dr Niranjan Acharya MD, Ayu, B C Road with Yen Ayu Vaidyaratna Award on Oct 29 for his untired service and dedication to the mankind and Indian system of medicine.
The programme was held at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital in the presence of Dr Asha Jyothi Rai, Asare Charitable Trust as a chief guest, Dr B H Shripathi Rao, pro-vice-chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University as a guest of honour, Dr Gururaja H, principal, vice principal and medical superintendent of Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital.
