Congratulations to the awardees! However, this Karnataka Rajyotsava holds less meaning for Tuluvas, as the state government has yet to grant official language status to this ancient Dravidian language. It is the duty of both state and central governments to protect and promote linguistic and cultural diversity, which is a fundamental human right in a democratic system .
