Mangaluru, Oct 31: A young electrician tragically lost his life after falling into a pond while working near Kulai, Suratkal, on the afternoon of October 30.
The deceased, identified as Swastik (21), was a resident of Ekkaru Durga Nagara.
He was performing electrical work near the pond when he reportedly lost his balance and fell in.
Swastik, the second of three sons born to Baby and Vishwanath, was unmarried.
