Mangalore: Venkataramana Temple Gets New Dhwaja Stambha

Mangalore, Dec 8: A newly made flag pole (Dhwaja Stambha)  was installed in front of Lord Venkatarama Temple in Car Street here on Wednesday December 7. The new flag pole is part of the ongoing renovation and re-consecration programmes of the temple.

The flag pole will be ceremoniously consecrated in the presence of Sri Sudhindrateertha Swamiji of Kashi Mutt on January 24, 2012. Temple trustees, C L Shenoy, Nityanand Nayak and Madhava Kamat, apart from M Padmanabh Pai, president of renovation committee, Satish Nayak, Jeevanraj Shenoy, and hundreds of devotees were present.
