Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences holds orientation ceremony of BDS ‘AARAMBH’

Mangaluru, Nov 7: Srinivas Institute of dental sciences Mukka Mangalore hosted the inauguration of orientation ceremony of its 13th batch of BDS 'AARAMBH' on November 7. The function was inaugurated and was presided over by Dr CA A Ragevendra Rao chancellor Srinivas University and president A Shama Rao Foundation Mangaluru and Prof (Er) Mitra S Rao, trustee, board of governors Srinivas University and secretary A Shama Rao Foundation Mangaluru.

They addressed the gathering and motivated the students through their inspiring speeches.

Dean Prof (Dr) K Reshma Pai welcomed the guests and spoke about the Ranks obtained by the students in RGUHS examinations and welcomed the new batch of Students.

Prof (Dr) Hemanth M head of department of oral and maxillofacial pathology gave a brief introduction on the BDS curriculum senior students and interns spoke about the their experiences in the institution. New batch students and parents shared their views on dentistry and the institution.

Prof (Dr) Praveena Shetty head of department of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics proposed the vote of thanks and programme was concluded with national anthem.
